Safeguarding

Torridge Coastal Mission Community takes safeguarding very seriously and has adopted the Exeter Diocese Safeguarding Handbook, promoting a safer Church.

Safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults is the responsibility of us all, whether they are in the communities in which we live or part of our Christian family.

The Diocesan Safeguarding Team’s contact details can be found at this link.

If you are a young person and you feel unhappy about something happening to you, you can call Childline on 0800 11 11.

Our Parish Safeguarding Officers for each church are as follows:

Donate

People value the Torridge Coastal Mission Community in all sorts of ways: as a collection of great historic buildings; as the beating heart of North Devon's Church of England worship; as venues for concerts and community building activities; as inspirational spaces to reflect; and as social hubs.

We don’t receive regular funding from the government or from the Church of England, so your donation really will make a difference. It will help ensure our long-term financial stability and enable us to emerge ready to serve the people of North Devon, as we have done for years.

Thank you so much for any support you are able to give.

Contact us if you have any intention of making a donation.
